Your phone or tablet should never become slower or drain more battery after installing multiple apps. Greenify ensures that your device runs smoothly and efficiently just like it did on the first day you had it.

Greenify helps you identify and put misbehaving apps into hibernation when you're not actively using them. This prevents them from slowing down your device or draining your battery. The best part is, they can do nothing without being explicitly launched by you or other apps, while still maintaining full functionality when running in the foreground.

Greenify NEVER EVER collects your personal data, despite having accessibility service capability. It only takes advantage of this capability to automate the hibernation procedure.

IMPORTANT: When you greenify an app, keep in mind that all of its background functionality (service, periodic task, event receiver, alarm, widget update, push message) will be disabled during hibernation, except when you are actively using the app. Make sure to verify the impact of greenified apps that you heavily rely on.

Note: Greenify requires background running services for auto-hibernation to function. However, it is designed and implemented to have minimal CPU and battery consumption.

• DEVICE ADMIN: This app requests administrator privilege to turn off the screen immediately after automated hibernation on non-root devices. This permission will only be requested with your explicit consent.
• DRAW OVER OTHER APP: This permission is used to dim the screen during automatic hibernation when it is expected to be off.
• DISABLE SCREEN LOCK & BIND ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE: This is required for automatic hibernation to work on non-root devices.
• GET ACCOUNTS & WRITE SYNC SETTINGS: This allows control over the account sync of apps if their sync task is too frequent.

This app utilizes Accessibility services to automate the hibernation procedure.
